Sanader: Mozemo is humiliating the SDP, and they're cowardly silent approximately it

Vice-President of the Croatian Parliament and political secretary of the HDZ, Ante Sanader, stated on Tuesday in Murski Središć that “the Mozemo birthday party humiliated the SDP” by way of deciding to go to the elections independently, even as the SDP “cowardly remained silent”.

– We may want to have humiliated the SDP and its citizens with that act, and unluckily, the SDP stays cowardly silent, that is extraordinary. The query is what is left of Račan’s excellent party – stated Sanader Hina in Murski Središće, where he arrived for a ceremonial meeting at the occasion of City Day.

He expressed astonishment that the SDP is now silent and assessed that the SDP cared plenty approximately that coalition, which, due to the previous day’s choice of the Mozemo party, will no longer be reached now.

– We understand how plenty SDP invested in that coalition. If you remember that the SDP dissolved the complete Zagreb branch, the president of the Zagreb SDP, and it become all a stake inside the coalition they desired to make with the Mozemo birthday celebration – said Sanader.

He also asserted that SDP president Peđa Grbin even gave up his candidacy for top minister due to a capacity coalition and “was geared up at hand over that role to Sandra Benčić”.

– A huge stake become invested in that coalition. However, if a coalition couldn't be formed at that stage, how would they lead the usa. This is an indicator of the incompetence of Mozemo and SDP – Sanader concluded.

In Murski Središće, Sanader was also at the commemoration of the event 32 years ago, while unarmed locals prevented JNA tanks from crossing the bridge into Slovenia or Lendava.

– That act confirmed the determination and readiness of the Croatian people for his or her united states of america – stated Sanader, and he informed the members of the occasion that it became specifically nice that they stood up for the protection of the neighboring u . S . A . And the Slovenian people, and emphasised that this act clearly strengthens the solidarity and friendship between two peoples.

The mayor of Murski Središće, Dražen Srpak, recalled how the locals avoided the passing of tanks with their bodies.

– People had been so irritated and furious with the whole lot that changed into taking place to Croatia and Slovenia that there has been sincerely no manner to let them move. There were even folks who lay down on the asphalt, blocked their motors, and we must thank them and bow to them for that – he said.

The Prefect of Međimurje County, Matija Posavec, puzzled what might have came about if the tanks had managed to enter Slovenia, where there has been a actual risk that the oil fields would be mined, and emphasised that all individuals in that event may be proud, pronouncing that with an eye fixed to the future, they have to in no way overlook well-known events from our past.
