Delhaize change union now additionally objectives bailiffs
The socialist clerk union Setca took movement on Thursday at an office of bailiffs in Liège. The union desires to protest against the position that the bailiffs play within the social battle at the grocery store chain.
A few dozen militants went to the bailiff’s office interVentus in Liège. They issued a fictitious order requiring the bailiffs to forestall their actions towards Delhaize militants. The intention is to denounce the role that the bailiffs play within the social struggle.
A serious social conflict has been happening at Delhaize in view that March, after the grocery store chain announced that it might privatize its 128 stores. Delhaize uses bailiffs to make findings or to eliminate blockages.
“It is they who persecute the representatives and militants at Delhaizes anywhere in Liège. We need them to recognize what team of workers enjoy whilst on strike,” said Setca Secretary Patrick Masson.
