Croatian MEP Biljana Borzan celebrates with champagne: ‘I secured an exceptional EU law!’

Croatian representative inside the European Parliament Biljana Borzan she published a video showing her celebrating with a tumbler of bubbly after attaining settlement on what she defined as a “phenomenal invoice”.

– Tonight, after seven hours of negotiations with the European Commission and the European Council, I secured an outstanding European law on consumer empowerment!!! – said in a put up on Twitter.

– We penalize built-in defects, introduce device life marking, ban a number of false claims in the marketplace!!! – says the Croatian MEP.

He will present the details of the agreement reached on Friday whilst he's going to hold a press conference in Zagreb. It claims it's going to “present a number of suitable information for purchasers”.
